Resourcery Group are working with a rapidly growing business whose growth is being driven both organically and via an aggressive acquisition strategy. It is the latter which is driving the need to recruit a newly created role of Integration Finance Manager.
As Integration Finance Manager, you will be working closely with the Finance Director of a £400m+ t/o business and be responsible for supporting the acquisition process from an integration perspective. As such, the successful delivery of your role will enable the business to move forward with future bolt-on acquisitions. Failure to deliver in the role will result in a bottleneck and delay in both market share growth and profitability as the business will not be able to acquire more businesses inthe timescales they so desire. As such, this is a high profile role and one which will form the bedrock of your future career progression at the business, bringing you into contact on a daily basis with the most senior stakeholders in the business/acquired businesses.
A strong financial control bias will be advantageous, but perhaps more crucial is the need to be able to map systems, processes, procedures and lead on the technical and accounting integration of any acquisitions. As Finance Manager you will work with the existing Finance team as well as the acquired business acting as a conduit for the flow of information between the two; a key business partner leading the integration of the accounting systems, planning the proposed integration method and testing the results. You will be responsible for process review and improvement, system readiness for BaU, contract management and integration, commercial reporting, budgeting, forecasting management accounting integration.
This is a fantastic role which would best suit those with a project bias, systems change experience and ideally some hands-on integration experience. A business which is aiming for 5-10 acquisitions a year for the next 3 years needs a competent and confident project manager who can guarantee delivery.
Applicants for the Finance Manager role should be:
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified Accountant
- Post-acquisition integration experience
- Systems integration and change experience
- Financial Control, process improvement, review and mapping experience, BPR/BPI
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Be able to commute to Warrington on a daily basis and be able to travel sporadically to newly acquired businesses within and without the North West.
