Management Accountant

Interim Management Accountant (8-Month Contract) Salary: Up to £45,000 (pro rata) Working Pattern: Hybrid

An established organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join their finance team on an 8-month contract. This role is ideal for a hands-on management accountant who can add value quickly in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis

· Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

· Providing financial insight and commentary to support operational and commercial decision-making

· Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders

· Ensuring financial controls and reporting deadlines are met

· Assisting with year-end and audit preparation where required

About You

· Qualified, part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE

· Strong background in management accounting

· Excellent Excel and financial analysis skills

· Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams

· Previous experience in construction or a project-based environment is desirable but not essential
