Financial Analyst/Commercial Analyst

Commercial Finance Analyst 

Liverpool £50,000-60,000 plus package

Resourcery Group are working with one of Merseyside's recent success stories as they look to hire a Commercial Finance Analyst. You will be an integral part of the Commercial Finance team, responsible for analysing financial data to support decision-making processes. 

This role will involve analysing financial information and working closely with senior stakeholders in different areas of the business such as Operations, IT and finance. You will work on exciting projects and play a key part in supporting decision making, through robust reporting and modelling. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a value adding and business influencing role. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights to stakeholders
• Lead and facilitate monthly review meetings, driving accountability and follow-through
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with trend-based analysis
• Prepare monthly Board Packs and detailed P&L analysis
• Partner with Regional Managers to improve YOY and bottom-line performance
• Analyse ROI on brand partnerships and support decision-making
• Create dashboards and visual reports for non-financial stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial analysis and interpreting large datasets.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and financial modelling.
• Familiarity with financial systems and data visualisation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or equivalent.
