Resourcery Group are supporting a rapidly expanding Professional Services business near Chester to recruit a Sales Analyst.
This newly created role works in close support of Sales & Marketing functions driving enhanced commercial insight and decision making. Acting a business partner to senior stakeholders the role of Sales Analyst will play an integral role in driving P&L growth through the provision of first class insight and management information, which in turn will help shape Sales & Marketing strategy.
Such a role is very analytically focused requiring a tenured data savvy modeller comfortable utilising VBA and SQL to a high standard. Interrogating, interpreting, assimilating and communicating complex financial data will require a strong data analytics bent and applicants with a modelling or Business Intelligence background will be well placed to deliver in the role. This role is however not an analyst role in isolation; you will be expected to understand the commercial drivers of and implications on the P&L and help shape profitable growth, evaluating marketing campaigns, accessing the efficacy of sales strategies, interrogating sales conversion rates, pushing cross-selling opportunities. As such applicants need to possess not only the analytical and data skills, but also the commercial acumen, communication skills and emotional intelligence to work with and influence sales and marketing stakeholders at all levels.
- Posses strong data manipulation skills using Excel, VBA, SQL, SAS
- Have a background in commercial analytical roles partnering with sales and marketing functions
- Possess a strong commercial acumen and hands-on ability to produce and analyse data using predictive modelling
