Job Description

Resourcery Group are working with a great client who are looking to take on a temporary Senior Management Accountant whilst they recruit on a permanent basis.


This is a temporary role as a Senior Management Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller. The role will focus on completion and submission of the monthly management accounts on a 3-day reporting cycle for all sites, together with the submission of supplementary financial and non-financial reports. Included within the role is the full ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations as well as supporting the FC and FD with process improvements and ad hoc reporting. This role is a key point of contact for Site Directors and functional leads to raise queries, request information, and understand correct revenue, cost and payroll allocations, as well as providing support for Exchequer queries to the wider teams.
The key points of contact for the role are the Finance team, Financial Controller, Finance Director, Site Directors, wider operational teams, Customer Services, Group Reporting Manager.


Main Duties to:
Production and submission of the monthly management accounts on a 3 day reporting cycle
Submission of additional monthly analysis and KPI reports
Completion of month end processes and key reconciliations
Ownership and completion of the balance sheet reconciliations
Updating the Fixed asset register and posting depreciation
Calculating and reconciling rebate reconciliations, WIP journals and central recharges
Support for junior team members and point of contact for wider operational teams
Opening new customer accounts and dealing with ad hoc queries
Developing and managing financial systems, standard reporting, processes, policies and procedures
Ad-hoc reporting and duties as required


Qualifications/Role Requirements:
Qualified CIMA / ACCA Qualified
Minimum 2-3 years' recent experience in similar roles across SME companies
Advanced Excel and report building skills
Strong communication skills and experience liaising with finance and non-finance stakeholders
