Resourcery Group are working on an exclusive assignment for a large Financial Services business in the North West assisting with the recruitment of an experienced Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to help drive financial performance improvements.
Due to internal promotion the opportunity has arisen to recruit a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis capable of taking ownership of a rapidly expanding team (8-10) and having responsibility for driving the P&L forward. You will be commercially astute and experienced in the Financial Services sector.
Your remit will include: strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, month end activities, production of the Board packs and Investor presentations and information, weekly and monthly MI and insight and commentary which will also be used to explain performance in the annual report. You will also have strong links and influence over pricing, promotional activity, new product development amongst other areas. In such a role, you will be expected to prep the exectuive team and deal with challenging ad-hoc requests.
Working for the Finance Director and in close proximity to the senior executive leadership team you be expected to handle daily requests for financial performance information from the most senior stakeholders in the division and Group. As such, you must be a robust and confident communicator and possess self-awareness, confidence, gravitas and self-belief. The ability to drive the P&L proactively and be accountable for performance are essential. You will manage many cross-functional internal relationships to Board level including with the CEO and external relations with Banks, Auditors and external advisers.

Successful applicants must be:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Financial Services experience
- Previous track record of working in a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis or Head of Financial Performance role with accountability for the P&L performance.
- Excellent MI and data insight skills
- Excellent communication skills
