Resourcery Group are working in support of a plus £150m t/o, PE backed manufacturing/engineering business in Manchester who are looking to recruit a top tier, ACA-qualified, Group Reporting Accountant.
The recruitment assignment is due, in part, to the continued growth of the business both organically and via a policy of aggressive expansion driven by acquisition. As such, the Group Reporting Accountant, whilst primarily responsible for and focused on the submission of statutory accountants and end-to-end management of the audit process, will also be exposed to M&A activity and the resultant post-acquisition integration work.
Working closely with an impressive and vastly experience Group Finance Director, the Group Reporting Accountant will be given a fantastic career opportunity to learn from an industry leader and broaden their finance experience. In addition to building a commercial awareness within a diverse international Group, the Group Reporting Accountant will co-ordinate all internal and external reporting for the Group, supporting a small but extremely capable Group function leading on audit, tax, financial and regulatory compliance.
Given the diverse and eclectic nature of the Group the Group Reporting Accountant must be capable of building relationships with subsidiary stakeholders across a wide geographic region. As such, the Group Reporting Accountant must possess gravitas, strong business partnering skills, a robust personality, credibility, integrity and resilience. The ability to influence and drive change is essential.
