Resourcery Group are working with a fantastic organisation in North Merseyside for a finance manager position. A growing finance function adding benefit to the overall business growth and achievement - this is an exciting time o join a company wanting to invest in its people. You will be a strong people manager committed to developing, coaching and mentoring your small team to deliver insightful management information and improve process and relationship within wider finance function and the business to really add benefit and drive value across the organisation. Your team will service but also challenge internal stakeholders with the MI you are producing.




A strong communicator - building effective relationships and networks - being able to talk through cost analysis, spot trends and opportunities, identify areas of risk, articulate effectively at all levels and drive your team to do the same.


Lead the team in the production of relevant analysis and investigation of cost variances, both to plan and the prior year, and co-ordinate ad-hoc analysis to aid decision making, delegating where appropriate to do so.


Conduct review processes and policy adoption, to ensure that accurate accounting records for all overhead costs are maintained and understood within the team and the wider department, demonstrating continuous improvement in both efficiencies and quality of outputs.


Have responsibility for targeting your team in line with finance and company expectations and targets.


Preparing Monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary.


The business wants leaders and you will be committed to you own CPD and your teams.


Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with up to date knowledge of IFRS accounting


Above standard Excel skills


Analytical role previously in medium to large business.


Commercial acumen of current challenges to business across multiple sectors


A leader - management experience of similar size team.
