Reporting to the CFO/Head of Finance the Senior/Commercial Management Accountant will be responsible for a number of specific areas of Finance including:
Accountable for ensuring challenging and achievable annual budgets and plans are produced which are aligned to the financial and strategic goals of the business. Developed with client relationship teams to ensure business buy in and ownership of targets covering:
Management of the 3 month rolling forecast process, developed with the relationship management teams to ensure the business has a short term plan which enables timely tactical decisions to maximise cash and profit.
Accountable for assessing and approving business plans ensuring they are aligned to the financial and strategic goals of the business.
Accountable for providing financial insight into the performance of the certain clients and accounts business ensuring areas of over and under performance to the plan are managed and understood by the wider business.
Accountable for providing the wider business with clear insight and guidance into the Net Margin performance of the large accounts, using this insight to shape the future strategy and plans of the business to maximise account profitability.
Accountable for providing a timely robust cash flow forecast to the Treasury team.
