The organisation is a contract-led business and due to sustained demand for services and continued growth of the organisation they are required to recruit an experienced Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner in modern parlance.
As Commercial Finance Manager you will take ownership for the profitable delivery of several key national contracts with key blue chip clients. As such you simply must have exceptional cross-functional stakeholder management skills, exceptional relationship building skills, self-awareness, confidence, self-belief, gravitas and influencing skills in order to successfully drive operational behaviour changes and commercial revenue growth. You will be bottom line focused, cost conscious and top line aware. Understanding the implications of inaction or the wrong decision is crucial. The ability to communicate this essential.
Reporting and analysis, project reviews, month end, budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, MI provision, trend analysis, competitor analysis are all your responsibility for the contracts you manage. Cash management is key and prior experience of coordinating cash flow forecasts, monthly WIP, debt reviews with a view to improving working capital is essential.
The nature of a contract-led role requires you to travel to locations outside the NW 3-5 days a month but you have ownership of your diary and travel is fully-expensed. The provision of a car allowance helps offset any additional pain.
