The Opportunity

Resourcery Group are working in partnership with a leading global manufacturing business based in Liverpool. As a result of on-going growth and expanding markets the business is recruiting an experience senior commercial finance specialist focused on helping drive revenue through supporting the Sales function.

The Role

As a Commercial Finance Manager you will work as part of a wider team of commercial finance business partners who are focused on the delivery of value-adding advice and support to non-finance commercial teams. You will ensure the delivery of first class MI to help ensure the business functions understand how profitability is being driven and show an understanding of the commercial and revenue drivers. The role is customer focused and not just product-orientated. As such, yours will take a more holistic view of overall customer profitability and revenue generation and focus on the impact of changes in pricing and promotional activity.

You will be an exceptional modeller with strong analytical skills and be an experienced cross-functional stakeholder influencer providing enhanced decision making information and visibility to the Group Sales Director, divisional Sales Directors and Commercial Product Managers.

You will still retain a hands-on element in the role producing management accounts packs and financial reports to be used in Commercial Finance Leadership Team meetings. You will be responsible for divisional budgets and quarterly forecasting, set and monitor sales KPIs, manage and produce sales performance, profitability, volume, product mix reports.

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • 2:1 degree or better
  • Sales facing and influencing experience
  • Strong modelling and analytical skills

  • Possess self belief and gravitas
