Resourcery Group are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding, owner-managed SME that has, and continues to, experience rapid revenue growth both organically and acquisitively. This continued growth has provided the opportunity for the Group to recruit a commercially-minded, Finance Manager to work in a £10m turnover division of the larger +£60m Group.

Due to internal restructuring and a refocus on own brand products the business is forecasting revenue to double in the next 12 months with the division's 2020 vision seeing revenue break through the £40m barrier. This is an extremely exciting time for the divisional business and the wider Group and as such the opportunity that exists to grow a career in a profitable and growing business is a fantastic one.

You will be MD-facing, reporting into Group finance. Focusing on supporting the business to make enhanced commercial and operational decisions you will partner key non-finance stakeholders/budget holders helping them identify best practice in their business areas. Sales performance reviews, pricing, bid and tender support, product rationalisation are all areas you will be driving delivery in. You will also be visible on the manufacturing shop floor working in conjunction with manufacturing staff to help control the cost base and manage overheads and inventory, looking for site efficiency gains. Running the cost review meeting with Operational Heads of is a weekly occurrence. As such a Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG or Pharmaceutical background would be beneficial.

From a finance perspective you will be expected to manage the budget and forecast processes, manage working capital and take responsibility for the weekly cash forecasting. KPI setting, variance analysis, management account production will all fall under your remit. This is a stand alone role on site but with the support of a centralised finance team.

In summary, successful applicants will be:

  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified

  • Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG or Pharmaceutical sector experience

  • Family-owned, SME background

  • Familiar with Sage accounting packages and possessing robust Excel skills

  • Strong stakeholder management experience driving change through budget holders

  • Strong operational and commercial acumen

  • Hands-on and capable of working semi-autonomously

  • Be based in the Hampshire region or able to work there during the week.
