The Commercial Finance Business Partner role is divisionally focused working within a specific product area(£160m t/o) and reports directly to the Divisional Finance Director managing 1 direct report. Working closely with the divisional senior management, UK General Sales Managers, Buying Controllers and a myriad of cross-functional stakeholders your role is to drive profitability improvements and performance enhancement through the provision of insight and most importantly challenge!
You will lead the annual budget process and have oversight of the production of the management accounts and consolidation into Group, providing insight into variances. More importantly you will provide a first line challenge to the business leaders and in-country management to help drive cost savings, efficiency and profitability growth. You will be expected as Commercial Finance Business Partner to work closely with Commercial Sales teams helping drive better pricing decisions, playing a key role in strategic deals, providing insight and understanding around product marketing and customer behaviour.
As such, our client is looking for a capable commercial accountant, with a strong FP&A background, comfortable being hands-on analytically but more importantly capable of influencing senior stakeholders across the business and overseas. - be CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified.
- be a proven stakeholder manager capable of influencing cross-functionally at all levels.
- have experience of working with a large company system such as SAP (ideally) or Oracle.
- possess FPA knowledge and management accounts background - budgeting, forecasting, KPI management etc.
- ideally have worked in Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer Products.
- used to working in a corporate environment but capable of working autonomously.
