Following graduation from Leeds University with a BA (Hons) in Economics and Management Studies, Josh pursued a career within Financial Services, qualifying as a Fellow of the Securities Institute (FSI) in 2004. Working as a Private Client Investment Manager for subsidiaries of Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, he worked with a wide range of clients and advisory firms across the North West providing bespoke investment solutions. Working as a relationship manager positioned Josh well for a move into the recruitment industry in 2005.
Over the past 12 years Josh has worked as a Director for both FTSE and NYSE-listed, global recruitment businesses (Page Group and Robert Half International) taking responsibility for operations across Manchester and Liverpool, incorporating Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales and Cheshire. Working with UK PLCs and owner-managed SMEs, to PE-backed and global corporates, Josh has worked with a wide range of businesses and people. This extensive network provides clients and candidates opportunity where it may not otherwise exist.
Josh has also taken responsibility for Executive Search & Selection for both of his previous employers and has a 100% success rate when working on a Retained Search & Advertised Selection basis. Marketing mapping, career planning, functional design and restructure, as well as salary benchmarking and competitor analysis are all areas of expertise.
Sector agnostic, but customer-centric, the focus remains on listening first, challenging preconceptions and tailoring bespoke solutions.
