Resourcery Group is delighted to be supporting a well established not for profit organisation based in Lancashire with the appointment of a Management Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation where finance plays a key role in operational decision making, financial planning and long term performance.
We're keen to hear from candidates with Not for Profit or Housing experience, particularly those familiar with regulated environments. However, candidates with a strong Cost accounting and Business Partnering background are also encouraged to apply.
The Role
Working closely with the Finance Manager and operational teams, you will:
• Produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and provide insight to support decision making.
• Partner with operational managers to improve financial understanding and drive value for money.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets and capital expenditure.
• Support project budgeting, statutory accounts, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, systems and processes.
About You
You'll have experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, alongside strong analytical and Excel skills.
You'll be confident communicating financial information, building relationships with non finance stakeholders and managing competing deadlines.
You should hold a relevant finance qualification or be working towards a professional accountancy qualification, with study support available.
