Resourcey Group is exclusively supporting this appointment for an experienced Finance Manager with strong housing-sector knowledge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a capable and established team, working closely with a highly collaborative SLT and ELT. You’ll have genuine influence, senior visibility and the opportunity to shape financial performance, reporting and future business planning.
The Role
You’ll lead the delivery of accurate and meaningful management information, working closely with Finance and Operations as a trusted Finance Business Partner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading monthly management accounts and operational finance reporting.
- Supporting annual budgets, forecasting and financial planning.
- Providing insightful analysis and business partnering to Senior Operational teams.
- Overseeing balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
- Supporting statutory accounts and audit activity.
- Developing management information, reporting and KPI insight.
- Driving improvements to systems, processes and ways of working.
- Promoting a strong Value for Money culture.
- Providing financial oversight of key projects.
- Leading, managing and developing the Finance team.
- Building strong relationships across Finance, Operations and wider Group Business Services.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with strong technical accounting, business partnering and housing-sector experience.
You’ll ideally have:
- Significant management accounting / operational finance experience.
- Experience within a Housing Association or similar housing environment.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial controls and balance sheet management.
- Experience leading and developing a finance team.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The confidence to influence, challenge and support senior decision-making.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and performance.

- Salary: £60,000–£65,000
