Credit Controller

Credit Controller | Southport | Temp to Perm | £30,000

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team based in Southport on an initial 3-month temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This is an immediate-start opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience managing their own ledger.

The Role:

• Managing an allocated sales ledger
• Proactively chasing outstanding payments
• Maintaining accurate customer accounts
• Allocating and reconciling payments
• Dealing with account queries and resolving issues promptly
• Building strong relationships with customers
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties

About You:

• Previous Credit Control experience is essential
• Confident managing your own ledger
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working to deadlines and targets
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
