Financial Accountant

Wirral | Part Time Accountant | 45,000 – 55,000 FTE

An opportunity to join a successful organisation on a part time basis based on the Wirral. This role is ideally suited to a practice trained Accountant looking to gain more flexibility and work life balance.

Part time hours available and flexible around school hours and/or other commitments, c. 25hrs (negotiable) spread across 4 days.

• Support the preparation of statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio, working alongside experienced Accounts Managers.
• Prepare management accounts and financial information from incomplete records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with a range of compliance work including corporate and personal tax, VAT returns, P11Ds and bank reconciliations.
• Build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and responding to day to day queries.
• Gain exposure to more complex accounts work while providing support to the audit team during busy periods.
• Contribute to process improvements and help deliver an outstanding service to clients.

Candidate profile;

• ACCA/ACA Qualified
• Ideally practice trained
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working independently
