Resourcery Group are supporting a well-established not-for-profit organisation in Warrington to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation delivering vital care services, where finance plays a key role in supporting both operational performance and long-term sustainability.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insight across multiple services. You’ll work closely with operational managers, helping them understand performance, manage budgets and make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities as a Management Accountant include:


  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including reforecasting
  • Partnering with service managers to monitor financial performance and cost control
  • Analysing payroll, staffing costs and operational spend
  • Reconciling income streams and ensuring billing accuracy
  • Supporting audit processes and maintaining strong financial controls
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting

About You


  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
  • Previous management accounting experience within care, charity or public sector
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive, organised and able to work as part of a wider team

This role will involve occasional travel across Warrington sites, so a driving licence is required.
