Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant | £35,000-40,000 | Liverpool

A well-established, global FMCG business in Liverpool is recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This is a broad, hands on role as the business continues to grow through acquisition and centralise their finance team. You will be responsible for:

• Delivering accurate and timely financial information to senior management and the wider business
• Preparing management accounts for several subsidiaries, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing rolling forecasts in collaboration with operational teams
• Weekly and monthly financial reporting
• VAT returns and intercompany reporting
• Financial anaysis and reporting to support with commercial decision-making
• Continuous improvement of processes and controls

For this Assistant Management Accountant role, you will be:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or QBE
• Experience working in a management accounting role with solid P&L and balance sheet experience
• Strong Excel skills
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Confident in working with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business
• Keen and have a desire to add value
