Management Accountant

I am working with a well known and thriving charity in Liverpool to recruit a Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to get on board, with fantastic benefits and outstanding company culture

Key responsibilities will include;

• Oversee financial processes, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain accurate records across finance and scheduling systems to ensure timely and compliant transactions.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for key financial activities.
• Manage system entries, revenue recognition, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns, process daily cash/journal entries, and oversee company credit and petty cash.
• Produce regular financial and operational reports to support payroll, management, and audits.
• Respond to ad-hoc finance requests and complete statutory or industry reporting as needed.

About you

• Part Qualified ACCA/MAAT/CIMA
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (other systems training will be provided)
• Strong analytical and problem skills
• Experience working in a commercial setting
