Credit Manager

Credit Control Manager | Liverpool | £45,000-55,000

We are working with a reputable business based on the outskirts of Liverpool to recruit a Credit Control Manager to join an established team, overseeing two credit controllers.

As Credit Control Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for managing a small team and take accountability for their development
• Manage and negotiate company credit insurance policy
• Assess and approve credit risks
• Develop and implement policies
• Monitor overdue accounts, follow up on unpaid invoices and work with internal and external personnel to resolve issues
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to align credit practices and business goals
• Prepare detailed reports on credit activity, bad debts and risk exposure 
• Deal with ad hoc tasks as and when they arise

You must have:

• Proven experience in a credit management role, ideally within a fast paced or changing environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships
• A proactive mindset and strong work ethic
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
