Payroll Manager

Payroll Manager | £45,000-50,000 | Wirral

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a successful organisation on the Wirral.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the end to end payroll process on a monthly basis 
• Managing four payrolls, some international 
• Calculating and processing over time, top ups, bonuses, and statutory payments
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulation and statutory deductions
• Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes
• Producing and reconciling payroll reports
• Pension administration and liaising with pension provider
• Managing year end processes including p60s, p11ds and HMRC submissions
• Acting as first point of contact for al payroll related queries
• Supporting finance and HR payroll data and reports as required
• Continuously reviewing payroll processes to ensure efficiency and compliance

For this Payroll Manager role, you must have:

• Proven experience running end to end payroll independently
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent Excel skills - confident in using formulas, pivots tables and v look ups
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times
• Strong communication skills - able to explain payroll details clearly to staff at all levels
