Finance Manager

Resourcery Group are working with an educational institute that are looking to bring on board a Finance Manager on a temporary basis for a couple of months. 

The Finance Manager's role:

• Support and review of monthly management accounts, journal approval, analytical review and preparation of reporting pack for review.
• Support with finalising year-end audit, including consolidation and preparation of statutory accounts.
• Support the revision and roll out of new budget to department heads.
• Purchase order challenge and approval within financial delegations.
• Maintenance of financial KPI suite.
• Review and approval of statutory returns/payments such as VAT, PAYE etc.
• Support with board/governor reporting.
• Treasury management.
• Update weekly rolling cashflow forecast.
• Supplier payment run approvals.
• System and process enhancements.

The ideal candidate:

• A Fully Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Have previous experience within the Education Not for Profit sector
• Be available at short notice
• Have strong management accounting and cash flow forecasting experience
