Financial Analyst/Commercial Analyst

Business Analyst | Manchester City Centre | £50,000 - £60,000

An exciting opportunity to join a high growth business operating within a fast paced industry, a well known brand within their sector having made a reputation of providing high quality advice & service to its customers.

Working closely with the CFO and broader senior leadership, you will have a broad, strategic role ideally suited to a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) who has developed into a role with more of a data focus.

Main duties include;

• Act as a key analytical partner to senior leadership, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Analyse and interpret key business performance metrics including revenue, client activity, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business to deliver projects focused on performance improvement and growth.
• Manage regular reporting cycles and ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data.
• Take ownership of data management processes, driving improvements in data quality, reporting speed, and analytical capability.
• Use Excel as the primary analytical tool to manipulate and interpret large datasets; experience with CRM systems advantageous.
• Challenge assumptions and provide commercial insight to enhance profitability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Combine strong financial and operational understanding with a pragmatic, problem-solving approach.
• Based in central Manchester, with a hybrid working model (minimum two days per week in the office).

Candidate profile;

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work through complex data and provide concise analysis
