Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Flintshire | £35,000-40,000

A well known business based in Flintshire is recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant to join a large finance team. A new role has come up for someone to join a strong, established team to support with financial insights and reporting to the wider business. 

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• Weekly forecasts and variance analysis
• Reporting on overheads costs such as labour, payroll and other cost centres
• Analysing breakdown of costs to help improve profitability
• Trend analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing payroll costs and reporting
• Working closely with other departments to analyse performance and improve reporting requirements 

We're looking for someone who is:

• Part qualified/finalist CIMA/ACCA
• Experience in month end management accounts production, ideally looking at costs
• Strong analytical skills with ability to challenge status quo
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen
• Continuous improvement mindset
