Financial Analyst/Commercial Analyst

Resourcery Group are partnering with a market-leading, £300 million turnover business based in Warrington to recruit a Commercial Business Analyst on a 9 month contract.

This is one of the UK’s fastest growing companies and has multiple offices based across the country.

The Opportunity:
This role is suited to a highly motivated and commercially minded Finance Analyst and is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to make an impact within a fast-paced, owner-managed business with exciting growth plans.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager and providing analytical support and financial insight to drive strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and report on revenue recognition and billing costs
• Produce and maintain weekly and monthly revenue reports
• Deliver insightful customer profitability and KPI analysis
• Support the month-end close process and wider commercial reporting
• Partner with the sales team to provide commercial finance support
• Build and enhance financial models and dashboards
• Deliver ad hoc analysis to support fast-paced business needs

Skills Required:

• AAT Qualified, ideally studying towards CIMA or ACCA
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical skills
• Highly proficient in Excel, with experience in financial modelling
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to simplify complex data and present actionable insights
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and challenging stakeholders
• Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience in the downstream access mailing market is desirable but not essential
