Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable Assistant | £28,000 | Liverpool

We are recruiting for a successful construction business that is growing year on year. At the moment, they are at the forefront of the property management and building sector in the North West with many visible, current projects and builds. 

In this role as Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Processing purchase ledger invoices and inputting onto the system
• Assisting with reconcilation of GRNI accounts
• CIS return
• Dealing with supplier queries on invoices and look to get resolved in a timely and efficient manner
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Managing everything up to payment runs
• Processing expenses both personal and credit card

For this role, you must have:

• Experience working in a purchase ledger role before
• Experience of working in construction and/or knowledge of CIS would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders internally as well as suppliers
• Motivation to learn and develop and be accountable for your own standards
