Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner | Wirral | £50,000 - £60,000

An opportunity to join a successful, international business operating in a sector that has experienced significant growth over the last 5 years. With a number of large scale projects upcoming along with external investment on board this is an opportunity to join a business at a time you can add real value, influence strategy and drive performance working alongside a highly skilled team.

Main duties will include;

• Build strong working relationships with support service teams to enhance commercial understanding and collaboration.
• Work closely with departments to understand their goals and translate them into financial targets and budgets.
• Generate and analyse performance reports that provide timely and insightful management information.
• Lead initiatives to automate financial processes and reporting using ERP systems and other tools.
• Improve operational efficiency to free up time for deeper financial analysis and insight.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for shared service departments, gaining alignment from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other finance team members to support a high-performing, effective finance function.
• Support the FP&A Manager and senior leadership with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Use tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) to analyse and present data.
• Apply strong analytical skills to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Communicate financial data clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Take initiative in developing new, systemised approaches to reporting and performance analysis.
• Build positive relationships across departments to ensure good communication and alignment.
• Operate calmly and efficiently under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality of outputs.
• Continuously seek ways to add value and improve financial insight across the business.

Candidate Profile;

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior experience in an FP&A and/or Business Partnering role
• Excellent excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with support
