Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

FP&A Analyst | Cheshire | £50,000 - £55,000

I am delighted to be working with a growing organisation based in Cheshire that are looking to appoint an ambitious FP&A Analyst to their growing team.

Easily commutable from Chester, Wirral, Ellesmere Port and/or Runcorn – this position is ideal for a Qualified or Finalist level Accountant who has been working in a fast paced environment with a particular emphasis on using Excel to produce strategic reports aimed at aiding decision making in a margin driven business.

Working closely with an experienced Finance Manager,  you will have a range of duties including;

• Conduct regular trading performance analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Support the preparation of performance reports and presentation materials for senior leadership.
• Develop analytical tools and reports to enable effective decision-making across the business.
• Assist in financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Provide ad hoc analytical support and contribute to special projects as needed.
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, offering data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Demonstrate initiative and autonomy in managing tasks and solving complex problems.
• Maintain strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate profile;

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or Finalist level
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
