Finance Manager

Finance Manager | £60,000 - £65,000 + bonus | Manchester

A well performing, private equity backed business based in East Manchester are looking to appoint into a newly created role, designed to oversee the existing finance function and play an active part in future acquisition led growth.

Reporting into an aspirational Finance Director, you will main duties will consist of;

• Lead on group budget production with presentation to board level
• Produce monthly MI packs to be distributed to department heads
• Compile detailed variance report for each business unit and engage with appropriate internal stakeholders
• Work practically with commercial and sales teams to ensure the company are maximising margins
• Develop existing reporting tools (Power BI) to increase the ability to make informed decision making at all levels
• Oversee all statutory reporting and tax submissions
• Key poc for year end audit
• Provide input during DD process of pending acquisitions
• Attend strategy meetings with exposure to the PE house

Candidate profile;

• Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified from a technical or audit background
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ambitious and aim to continuously improve business performance
• Prior staff management preferred
