Finance Business Partner

Resorucery Group are delighted to be supporting a reputable not-for-profit organisation in Blackburn in their search for a Finance Business Partner. This role is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing Finance team, headed by a hands-on and experienced Group Finance Manager. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for managing 2 Assistant Accountants and working collaboratively across the organisation to build strong relationships.

The Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in providing efficient and proactive finance management services, including strategic advice, guidance, coaching, and support to key budget holders and non-finance individuals. The primary focus of this role is to recommend finance solutions that drive efficiency, improve business understanding, reduce risk, and educate and enhance processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Working closely with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making purposes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with budget holders and openly communicating on financial matters
• Conducting regular meetings with key stakeholders to review financial information
• Overseeing the work of 2 Assistant Accountants
• Supporting the Group Finance Manager with project work and system harmonisation
• Significant involvement in budget setting and quarterly reviews
• Undertaking ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA/CAAB
• Experience working in a multifaceted environment
• Ability to produce full monthly management accounts and collaborate with the wider organisation
• Prior experience in the not-for-profit sector is desirable
