Financial Accountant

Resourcery Group are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our client's team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, getting ready for the financial year end and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This is a temporary role for 5 months based on site for year end support.

The Interim Financial Accountant's role:

- Manage all aspects of the financial accounting process in readiness for the auditors
- Prepare and analyse financial statements
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct regular checks to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Balance sheet reconciliation

- Accruals & prepayments

- Clear suspense accounts

- Support with legacy issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that financial policies and procedures are being met
- Providing up-to-date information on accounting regulations

Qualifications & Background:

- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant

- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant preferably with an audit trained background
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
