A services business based east-side of Manchester City Centre is looking for a Fee Collections Manager (Credit Control) to join their team in a newly created role. The company has grown significantly and is part of a larger European group. They received a significant cash injection in 2019 which has strengthened the business and their growth. This is an exciting time to join them.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a small team of fee collectors (credit controllers) across multiple sites
  • Support the team in effectively managing their workload
  • Set KPI's and motivate the team to minimise overdue debts
  • Improve processes and drive efficiencies
  • Ensure that cash is posted daily to allow visibility of overdue debt
  • Manage the billing process and accuracy of bills sent to customers
  • Ensure the queries are resolved timely and effectively to minimise debt
  • Support the team with the debt collection process
  • Report overdue and aged debt to sites, Manager’s, and Senior Manager's 
  • Raising credits and seeking appropriate approval
  • Building professional relationships with key stakeholders and service users
Skills & Experience Required: 

  • Up to date and relevant experience working in a Fee Collections/Credit Control role
  • Minimum of two years' management experience
  • Experience of managing a team across multiple sites 
  • Demonstrable experience of the debt collection process
  • Proven record of process improvement
  • Proactive approach
  • Excellent analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
  • IT literate
As Fee Collections Manager you will use your management experience to lead, support and motivate your small fee collections team. You will have a significant degree of autonomy and report directly to the CFO of the business. You will shape the future of the role and can add value by identifying process improvements and efficiencies and will have the full backing and support of the CFO and Senior Manager's across the business.
