An owner-managed finance recruitment business set up in 2016 has outlined plans to expand as part of a wider strategy of growth following a successful start to life in the North West.

Resourcery Group was established by entrepreneurial recruitment professionals Josh Stirrett and Allison Hodgkinson in early 2016 to bring a fresh approach
to qualified and executive recruitment.

The pair, who have more than 30 years of combined experience and knowledge in the North West marketplace, have both worked in senior roles for the likes of FTSE-listed Michael Page International and NYSE-listed Robert Half International.

Clients already working with Resourcery Group range from FTSE-listed multi-billion turnover businesses, to private equity-backed and owner-managed SMEs.

After a strong 18 months making placements across the North West for positions such as finance directors, chief financial officers, financial controllers and financial reporting accountants, plans are now in place to expand the business and take on several new recruitment consultants in the next six months.

“Our first 18 months has been fantastic; a real adventure,” said Stirrett.
“We feel blessed to have worked with some market-leading local, regional and global businesses.

“After much hard work we are seeing the fruits of our labour manifested through repeat business, new client wins and a lot of referred business.

“Our business is not based on a generic recruitment sales model but on creating real value through consultancy.

“We don’t conform to industry stereotypes and we don't wish to.”
