Management Accountant

Management Accountant | £40,000 - £50,000 | Wilmslow

An opportunity to join a fast growing, dynamic business operating in a specialist market. Working closely with the Finance Manager and further support from an experienced Finance Director, this Management Accountant role is ideally suited to a Newly Qualified or Finalist level Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) who is wanting to gain more comprehensive exposure and ownership at month end whilst also having a solid progression plan in place.

Main duties consist of;

• Prepare and deliver regular financial reporting
• Maintain and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting and business planning processes
• Produce and analyse key performance metrics
• Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and on time in line with internal standards
• Support cashflow and treasury-related activities
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and guidance
• Contribute to finance-related projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior audiences
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
• Support the development of junior team members
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate profile;

• CIMA/ACCA Finalist or Qualified
• Prior Management Accounts experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strategic thinker and ability to work across functions
• High level of attention to detail
