Financial Controller

Resourcery Group are partnering with a high growth, commercially driven business to recruit a Head of Finance.  This is a senior leadership role within a division of a larger business, partnering directly with the CFO and CEO and taking full ownership of financial performance.  You will lead a small but capable team and play a key role in driving growth, performance, and strategic decision making.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will act as the financial lead for the division, combining strong financial control with commercial leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning for division
• Acting as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director, supporting strategic decision making and growth initiatives
• Providing insight on pricing, margins, profitability, and investment opportunities
• Supporting key commercial decision making and business performance
• Owning financial control, governance, and risk management across the division
• Leading, developing, and mentoring a team
• Driving performance through robust analysis and challenge across sales and operational teams

About You

We are looking for a high calibre finance leader with:

• A recognised accounting qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a complex, fast paced business
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge at senior level
• Experience owning a P & L with a high degree of accountability
• A track record of leading and developing teams
• The credibility and presence to partner directly with senior leadership
