Senior Commercial Accountant 

Liverpool £60-70,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits

Resourcery Group are working with a market leading business in Liverpool city centre as they look to hire a Senior Commercial Accountant. This is a genuine value adding role and opportunity to influence decision making from day one. You will work with the Senior Leadership group to drive business performance and use finance as a business tool. Opportunities like this do not come around too often. 

Job Description

• Produce timely and accurate management accounts
• Prepare and analyse financial statements to support decision-making processes
• Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure financial efficiency.
• Work with Operations to drive business performance
• Lead on transformation projects across finance and the wider business
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to drive profitability.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Collaborate and Business Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial advice and support.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Identify areas for cost-saving and process improvement within the finance department.

Successful Commercial Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
