About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing based near Chester. We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join the team covering a maternity cover on an exciting project. This role offers a unique chance to play a key part in establishing and improving invoicing procedures within a growing finance function.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and wants to make a tangible impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Produce customer invoices, working closely with Sales and Customer Service teams
Produce customer credit notes
Support the Treasury team with credit control activities
Assist with daily cash transactions
Verify and request new customer set-ups
Support the Accounting Manager and wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Desired Skills & Experience
Confident and driven individual with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
High level of attention to detail
Good understanding of VAT
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
