Management Accountant

Senior Property Accountant | £40,000-45,000 | Liverpool

We are working with a successful property management business based in Liverpool city centre to recruit a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing team.

You will be responsible for maintaining all financial records related to the property management business, as well as ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting regulations. Day to day, your role will include:

• Preparing financial statements for property portfolios
• Managing the day to day financials with the CRM
• Managing monthly landlord payment runs
• Conducting monthly reconciliation of client accounts and assist in compliance reviews
• Producing quarterly NRL returns and annual statements
• Liaising with the property management teams to address any discrepancies or concerns
• Assisting in the preparation of scheme profitability
• Reviewing and reconciling supplier accounts alongside the property team

For this role, you must have:

• Experience working in a similar role within the property management sector
• Strong systems knowledge such as Quickbooks, Xero, Sage or Peoplesoft
• Strong financial management skills with an excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data
• Effective mentoring skills to support the development of junior team members
• Ability to collaborate with a wider team and manage multiple priorities effectively
