Assistant Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant | £30,000-35,000 | Liverpool

We are working with a fantastic organisation based in Liverpool, that is growing and has high growth expectations over the next two years. The business is looking for a strong Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team due growth. 

Day to day, your role as Assistant Management Accountant will:

• Assisting in the production of management accounts
• Posting accruals and prepayments, validating the monthly accrued revenue
• Preparing contract costs, MI and KPIs to support production of management accounts
• Analysing costs and reallocating mis-postings to ensure accuracy of reported costs and revenues
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Daily cashflow forecasts
• Calculation of framework commission fees
• Analysis and allocation of monthly direct labour costs to correct contracts
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis and support to the finance team and other stakeholders

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant who has:

• AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier
• Strong desire to learn and progress
• Confident personality and good relationship-building skills
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to be flexible and work in a changing environment
