Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Deeside | £40,000 - £45,000

An opportunity to join an exciting, growing business based in North Wales. This role, reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for a broad range of duties in an ideal role finish your CIMA/ACCA studies and develop further in a supportive structure and environment.

Main duties include;

• Preparation of timely and accurate management accounts, reporting packs, and supporting schedules for multiple entities.
• Production of monthly balance sheet, intercompany, and P&L reconciliations to support financial reporting accuracy.
• Posting of journal entries and month/quarter-end adjustments within Xero.
• Collaboration with senior finance team members on quarterly group consolidations and annual statutory accounts.
• Support in preparing reporting packs for joint ventures and development projects, distributed to key stakeholders.
• Assistance with cashflow forecasting, bank compliance reporting, and project WIP reconciliations.
• Contribution to process improvements, systems development, and ad hoc finance transformation initiatives.

Candidate profile;

• CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified ideally – QBE considered.
• Proven background in a management accounts environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
