This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a role that goes beyond the ordinary. As an ECCS Specialist Inspector, you’ll play a key part in securing the future safety of the public across major hazard industries — from oil and gas to chemicals, energy and more.
You’ll be at the forefront of inspecting, investigating and influencing standards in Electrical, Control and Cyber Security systems at high-hazard sites across the UK. No two days are the same — one day you might be reviewing safety reports, the next you could be on-site carrying out inspections, or providing expert advice at a national level.

What you’ll need
Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering
Chartered (or charter-eligible) with IET or equivalent professional body
Strong technical engineering experience, ideally in major hazards / high-consequence industries
Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to varied audiences
UK driving licence (reasonable adjustments considered)
